In the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the 24th anniversary of Kien Long Commercial Joint Stock Bank's establishment (27th October 1995 – 27th October 2019), Kienlongbank News Editorial Team interviewed Ms. Tran Tuan Anh - The Board member, CEO of Kienlongbank.
Interviewer: Good morning Ms. Tran Tuan Anh, we appreciate your time and acceptance for sharing opinions in the Special Newsletter No. 57 to celebrate the 24th Kienlongbank Anniversary. With 24 years of continuous innovation and development, in your opinions, what is the biggest success that Kienlongbank has achieved?
Ms. Tran Tuan Anh: It can be said that the greatest successes that Kienlongbank achieved in the last 24 years are:
(1) Currently, Kienlongbank has nearly 5,000 dynamic, enthusiastic, professional employees, collaborators. It is the "invaluable asset" that we are always willing to invest in for development.
(2) In recent years, Kienlongbank is evaluated as one of the following trend pioneers and is on stable growth. Kienlongbank's brand name with 31 branches and 103 transaction offices is well known across key provinces/cities nationwide. The premises locations are invested in construction, decoration for the best customers’ experience, thereby improving the image and reputation of Kienlongbank to customers and the community.
(3) Kienlongbank constantly researches, innovates and develops modern products and services, implements many attractive promotions and incentives to meet increasing demands and trust from customers.
(4) With the principle "Willing to share", Kienlongbank always accompanies social and community activities and receives sympathy and supports of customers and local people.
Interviewer: So where did the result come from, ma'am?
Ms. Tran Tuan Anh: It can be said that the achievements of Kienlongbank today are from proper orientation of the Board of Directors, the spirit of hard working and persistence of the staff from time to time. The core values of "Kind-hearted; Prestigious; Consistent; Green" and executive culture have boosted the belief and pride in each Kienlongbank officer, built a unique culture, brought positive impacts at work, built up our bank’s customers relationship and serving, thereby creating a good image of Kienlongbank in the community and society.
Interviewer: Turning 25 years old, what are the orientations of Kienlongbank in operations, Ma'am?
Ms. Tran Tuan Anh: Kienlongbank already has the existing background: the leadership team has many years of experience in the industry, dynamic, enthusiastic, well-trained personnel, steadily increased customer base over the years, more new products and services by years, spacious and modern bank premises, nationwide business network... Entering a new age, Kienlongbank identified key tasks of successfully implementing the restructuring plan - Phase 2 (2016-2020) submitted to the State Bank of Vietnam to gradually make Kienlongbank one of the modern and sustainable retail banks in Vietnam financial and banking market.
Interviewer: As a captain with lots of devotions to Kienlongbank, what are your concerns for Kienlongbank in the near future?
Ms. Tran Tuan Anh: It is uneven development of business units in the system. At present, there are 134 units operating in 28 provinces and cities across the country, some have stable development, are leaders in business activities but there are still some that are not really effective. In the future, the Management will have plans to promote business at those less effective units to bring balance and harmony to the whole system.
In addition, in my opinion, human is the most important factor in operations of the Bank. In the management, we focus on HR management and to build a good remuneration to attract, maintain, train and develop our Kienlongbank’s personnel.
Interviewer: What is the most important message that you would like to convey to the staff and employees in the 24th Anniversary of Establishment?
Ms. Tran Tuan Anh: Kienlongbank has certain achievements, however, in a competitive business environment today, it requires each player to be always ready to learn new knowledges, improve capacity, professional skills, identify business opportunities from challenges, accomplish at the best efforts the business targets.
The biggest message that I would like to share to all employees, collaborators is: We need to be consistent with the goal of maintaining and continuing to build Kienlongbank culture, the culture of "Kind-hearted; Consistent; Modest", “Passion’ and “Sacrifice” at works as well as in the management and administration, contributing to the best business pwerformance. On the occasion of Kienlongbank's 24th birthday, on behalf of the Board of Management, I would like to express my gratitudes to all employees and collaborators of all times who have worked, accompanied and devoted to building Kienlongbank during the past 24 years.
