Although the storm No.12 has passed its damage to people of the South Central region, especially Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen provinces, is the most severe. Thousands of house roofs were blown away, houses and trees were collapsed everywhere, the number of injured and dead people was hundreds, etc., have been grief-stricken and heartbreaking images these days.

Sharing with loss and grief which people as well as Kienlongbank customers, staff and employees in flood-hit have to suffer from, on November 9th, 2017, Mr. Vo Van Chau - Member of BOD, Kienlongbank General Director and Directors and branches/transaction offices visited, encouraged and gave support present to households being Kienlongbank customers, staff and employees in 03 provinces including Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh and Phu Yen. Accompanying with Kienlongbank in the family visiting was Mr. Nguyen Hoai Chieu - Director of the State Bank of Vietnam - Khanh Hoa Province Branch.

The General Director Vo Van Chau solicitously cared and sympathized with great loss families had to suffer from storm No. 12 and encouraged them to overcome the loss to have stable life soon and recover manufacturing and business.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kinh - a threadfin farming customer at Cam Duc Commune, Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa Province said “When storm No.12 came, my family also had to suffer from severe damage, total damage reached above VND 700 million. We are deeply touched to receive care, encouragement and sympathy of Kienlongbank General Director today. We would like to give Kienlongbank the thanks from the bottom of the heart. We will strive to overcome difficulties to have a stable life soon.”
Customer Nguyen Thanh Trang living at Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province also touchingly said that “I would like to say thank you to Mr. Chau - General Director of Kienlongbank as well as all of Kienlongbank managements, staff and employees. It is very meaningful and thoughtful for me and my family to be cared by the bank. Such action will be strong motivation for us to overcome these difficulties. Thank you so much”.
During the visit, Mr. Vo Van Chau was moved when seeing post-storm damage people had to suffer from. He said: At present, all shares come from society and national and international people. Our ancestor said that “A stitch in time saves nine”. Though we don’t have much but Kienlongbank hopes that this action will partly motivate people and customers to overcome post-storm difficulties”.
As far as we have known, Kienlongbank managements and Executive Committee of Trade Union had visited and promptly supported 14 households being Kienlongbank staff and employees subject to severe post-storm damages in 3 provinces, including Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen and Binh Dinh. Mr. Mai Quoc Hoi - Kienlongbank Cam Ranh security staff said: “When my family was very stunned with damaged caused by storm No.12, we received support from Kienlongbank Executive Committee of Trade Union. And now we were visited and offered with gifts from the General Director. I am deeply touched by Kienlongbank management and staff’s love. I will repair my house soon to continue working at Kienlongbank.”
Kienlongbank hopes that, with “the leaves protect tattered one” and love spirit, support from agents, organizations and individuals in general and Kienlongbank in particular, local people will feel empowered to overcome difficulties and have a stable life soon.
Sympathizing with people’s losses, Kienlongbank Board of Administration decided to review and restructure loan return term, review exemption and reduction and loosen existing loan interest rate for customers with capital loan from Kienlongbank living in severely damaged regions of the South Central after storm No. 12 and flood. At the same time, Kienlongbank Executive Committee of Trade Union supported part of expense for staff and employees suffering from damage and difficulties caused by storm No.12 and encouraged them to
